The Book Nook, where gently used books are sold, is a very special part of our new library. Immediately on your right as you come up the steps of the front entrance, it welcomes you to come inside, browse and buy.

A collection of rare and valuable books of special interest can be viewed at librarybooksales.org. These books are on display in the glass case.

Book donations for the Nook are dropped off at the circulation desk during library hours where they are sorted for books that might be needed in the collection. From there they are passed to the Book Nook where Mary Bowland, Helen McCarthy and Jane Christman price and shelve. Helen also is the volunteer coordinator staffing sales people for open hours. Helen, Jane, Mary, Phyllis Hicks and Barbara Anna meet monthly to review operation procedures. If you wish to become a much-needed volunteer, please contact Helen @ 760-635-1000 or by E-mail at cardifflibrary92007@yahoo.com We need you!!!
